About Author

Robert (Lynn) Asprin began attending SF conventions in the 1970s when a friend got him started in the Society for Creative Anachronisms (SCA). Another attendee of these meetings was Gordon R. Dickson, and when Robert once mentioned a potential plot to Dickson, the established author told him to write it himself.

In 1977 his first novel, Cold Cash War, was published. By 1979, Robert was able to turn his hand to writing full-time, leaving his cost-accountancy behind.
