Happy Birthday to Silverheart28 today! J G Ballard RIP James Graham Ballard, author of Crash and Empire of the Sun, has died aged 78 after a long illness. Paul 20/04/2009 RIP, Philip Jose Farmer Renowned science fiction author Philip Jose Farmer has passed away at the age of 91, reported his hometown newspaper the Peoria Journal Star. Among his many celebrated works were his Riverworld series, whose opening novel, To Your Scattered Bodies Go won the 1972 Hugo Award for best novel, the World of Tiers Series, and his Hugo-winning and Nebula-nominee novella Riders of the Purple Wage.
