Louise Marley, a classical concert and opera singer in the Seattle area, began her science fiction career with the trilogy, The Singers of Nevya. The Terrorists of Irustan followed, in 1999, a novel which has been nominated for the Nebula Award, and is a finalist for the Endeavour Award. Her latest novel is The Glass Harmonica, historical science fiction about a mysterious instrument invented by Ben Franklin, that links a young musician of the 18th century with one of the 21st century.
