C.M. Eddy,Jr. was a native of Providence, RI and wrote many short stories that were published in the pulps back in the 1920's, most notably Weird Tales, Munsey's Magazine, and Snappy Stories to name a few. He was a good friend to H.P. Lovecraft in Providence, and the two of them used to take long walks after midnite to various parts of the city to conjure up some new tale of the macabre.
