Born in 1962. In the last six years, twenty-six of Kevin's novels have been national bestsellers; he has over eleven million books in print in 25 languages. Best known for his numerous Star Wars and X-Files projects, Anderson's original work has received great critical acclaim, appearing on "Best of the Year" lists from Locus, Science Fiction Chronicle, and SFX magazines, the final ballots for the Nebula and Bram Stoker Award, and the American Physics Society's prestigious Forum Award. In 1998, he set the Guinness World Record for "Largest Single-Author Book Signing" in Hollywood, CA.
He is an avid hiker and camper, doing much of his writing with a hand-held tape recorder while on long walks in Death Valley, the redwoods, or the Sierra Nevada mountains.
