This was reprinted in 1963 with 22 of the original 40 stories. The entire collection was reprinted under the name The Golden Age of Science Fiction in 1980.
This book was tied for 13th on the Arkham Survey of the 'Basic SF Titles' in 1949, and 6th on the 1952 Astounding/Analog All-Time Poll.
There was a revised edition of this book published in 1963 which included only 22 of the 40 original stories.
