Budayeen Nights features a story entitled 'Marîd Throws a Party,' which was to have been the first two chapters of the fourth 'Budayeen' novel (Word of Night). This collection also contains an unfinished story, 'The Plastic Pasha,' which George was writing exclusively for this volume when he passed away in April 2002.
