Description: Fourteen hundred years ago, Chairiste Ni Cummen and her lover Siudb spent a Midsummer night eavesdropping on the music of the faerie Sidh, and were captured by the Sidh bard, Orfide. Chairiste eventually managed to escape into revolutionary France with Orfide's best harp - but Siudb remained trapped in the Realm. Two hundred years later (1987), Chairiste has taken up teaching harp in Denver. Her magical playing keeps her young, but she does not have the strength to successfully battle Orfide and free her lover from the Sidh, until one of her harp students introduces her to the power of a radical new kind of magic: rock and roll....
