Her Majesty's Wizard by Christopher Stasheff

Description: -One day, Stasheff realized that most of the modern 'medieval fantasies' he
read seldom mentioned the D-v-l, and never G-d. He vehemently maintained
that that wasn't the way medieval Christians really saw the world - they
saw G-d everywhere, in everything, and the D-v-l always lurking, looking for
an opening - and that authors really ought to write their fantasies a little
closer to that reality. Then he realized that, being a Fantasy Author, he
was stuck with writing his next story that way.
IMHO, the result must have surpassed his highest expectations!

Also in this series are The Oathbound Wizard, The Witch Doctor, The Secular Wizard, My Son, The Wizard, The Haunted Wizard, The Crusading Wizard, The Feline Wizard Return to the Christopher Stasheff page.
