Description: -The team of Henry Kutner and his wife C.L. Moore, created some of the
most memorable short stories. (She published much under her own name in
a field that was long dominated by male writers; cf: The Best of C.L. Moore).
A re-occuring character is a inventor who can only invent when he's drunk.
In most cases, when he sobers up, he has forgotten what the invention is
for -- be it a new type of 3-D television, a robot that is taken with itself,
a new kind of diamond.
Together, they created many entertaining stories. Well worth looking for.
