Duchess of Aquitaine by Margaret BallDescription: This book is basically a historical fiction novel, with a few drops of fantasy mixed in on occasion. It is a fictionalization of the life of Eleanor of Aquitaine, who became Queen of France for a time, and then Queen of England. This book covers Eleanor's time in France, only briefly mentioning her future as Queen of England, and mother of Richard the Lionheart, and Black John. It was wonderfully written, and a highy enjoyable read. I encourage fans of her work to read this book. Especially if you enjoy historical fiction about kings and queens of Europe.
