Out of Sight, Out of Mind by Chester Aaron

Description: Young teenage twins, with a worldwide reputation for their miraculous extrasensory powers (not only can they read thoughts, they can move distant vehicles), are orphaned when their mother and father are killed in a plane crash.

The parents were on their way to speak at a major intemational conference on psychic phenomena; the text of their speech ('Extrasensory Perception: A Key to World Peace') survives, and the twins plan to travel to Berkeley to deliver it themselves.

But a certain foreign govemment wishes to capture the gifted pair; the hunt is on, and they have the terrible problem of finding shelter without endangering their hosts. What's more, adolescence is daily weakening their childhood powers.
