Description: 'L’Île mystérieuse' (i.e. 'The Mysterious Island') was first published in “Magasin” from January 1st, 1874 through December 15th of 1875. As a book it was originally published in three volumes: 'Les Naufragés de l’air' (i.e. 'The Castaways from the Sky'), L’Abandonné (i.e. 'The Abandoned One'), and 'Le Secret de l’île' (i.e. 'The Secret of the Island'). It is the twelfth of Verne's 'Voyages Extraordinaires' novels.
