| Sylvia Engdahl is best known for her young adult Newbery Honor Book ENCHANTRESS FROM THE STARS, but her other early science fiction novels, though initially published as YA, are of interest mainly to older teens and adults. Her trilogy was republished in 2000 as adult SF under the title CHILDREN OF THE STAR and its first volume THIS STAR SHALL ABIDE is now back in print. She has recently published two adult SF novels, STEWARDS OF THE FLAME and its sequel PROMISE OF THE FLAME.
