His editorial career started in college. After graduation, he worked at Library Journal as an Assistant Editor for two and a half years. After freelancing for a year -- in September 1993 he became Associate Editor of Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror for Byron Preiss Visual Publications and Byron Preiss Multimedia Company, working under Senior Editor John Betancourt. When John left the company to write and publish full-time, Keith was promoted to Editor, and he remained there full time for three years.

As a writer, Keith has had several novels, eBooks, short stories, comic books, and nonfiction books published, most in the realm of media tie-ins. He's put out two best-selling works based on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He's written prose based on Marvel Comics super heroes books based on Young Hercules, a novel and three short stories based on Farscape, the first novel based on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, novelizations of both Resident Evil movies, and short stories in the worlds of Xena, Doctor Who, and Magic: The Gathering.

Most of his recent and future work has been in the realm of Star Trek.

In 2004, Keith's first original novel will be published by Pocket Books. Entitled Dragon Precinct. A story in the same setting will also be appearing in the fall 2004 anthology Murder by Magick.

As an editor, Keith has edited the original anthology and also co-edited five anthologies and one short-story collection, with Star Trek: Tales of the Dominion War. He edited several books for Atheneum Books and horror novels, as well as the aforementioned Marvel and Bester books.

Besides all this, Keith is a professional musician an amateur actor and voiceover actor, and a member in good standing of the Double-Breasted Fedoras, the World Champion virtual baseball team.
