| John Delaney lives in the west of Ireland, an ocean and a continent away from Renton-based Wizards of the Coast. He first started playing Magic: The Gathering in April 2000, when he got his brother a Starter Set for his birthday, and he has always enjoyed writing. He spent most of his school and college years aiming toward journalism before he later realized that creative writing, rather than factual, was what he enjoyed doing the most.
