My name is Sophia Zufa. My residence is in New Lenox, Illinois, about thirty miles from Chicago. I have two brothers and a sister. Another brother, Robert, died a few years ago. He had Down Syndrom and with his pure and innocent soul was the joy of our lives. I have has a daughter, who is also a writer and photographer, who in turn has three daughters who are carving their own niches in the world. Much of my writing has been influenced by the Depression of the 30's, the era in which I grew up. I have translated two books from the Slovak language to English, and my first book was a novella, 'The Choice'. Am a columnist for the Senior Connection newspaper, serving the northern region of Illinois. This author has been recommended by 8 other readers. | |
