As creator of the Naruto anime and manga series, Masashi Kishimoto has been recognized
as one of the elite mangaka's and considered a hero by millions of his fans around the world.
Born in the Okayama Prefecture in 1974, Masashi Kishimoto has accomplished to much in
his career that many can only dream of.
The road to becoming a professional mangaka was a long road for Kishimoto, from the days
he grew up admiring Åkira Toriyama, to when he admired Katsushiro Ootomo for his work on
"Akira". His professional career started when he submitted a manga of his to Shueisha
entitled "Karakuri", this to his suprise won him the Hop Step Award and a chance to have
manga published in Shonen Jump! It was only a matter of time until his next manga based on
a "Shadow ninja boy", Naruto, would be published in 1997, and has since become a huge
