Janet McDonald grew up one of seven children in public housing in Brooklyn and holds degrees from Vassar College, New York University School of Law and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
She is a member of MENSA, the international IQ society and practices law in Paris, France where she is one of a handful of Americans admitted to the bar.
